Mornings are hectic and my kids think I’m a short order cook. With the time crunch in the morning I do not have time to stand at the stove and cook eggs the way everyone likes them. With the Eggtastic microwave egg cooker I simply crack open the eggs scramble them in the cup making sure not to go past the fill line, pop the lid on, and put it ion the microwave on the recommended timer. I’ve found that after a minute or so we do need to stir them up scramble and pop it back in for a few more seconds sometimes up to 25 sec but still so very quick and easy even my 9 yr old has made scrambled eggs. I can cook everyone eggs and have them on the table in less than 5 minutes and that I love.
Here’s how it works.
Get your eggs out and the Eggtastic.
Then crack the eggs in the cup. Decide on if you’d like them poached or scrambled. If poached poke each of the egg yolks and if scrambled scramble them up. You can do this in the cup. If you desire to season, add cheese or vegetables like tomatoes or peppers and onion you can do that now but be sure not to go past the fill line. One of the things that I do like is that you do not have to coat the inside of the cup. No butter or oil needed. That saves calories. However if you like that buttery flavor feel free to add it in.
Pop them in the Microwave under the recommended time and out comes fluffy eggs. Kids love them. They taste great and they’re quick and easy and done in a little over a minute.
